Getting Started — Demand Partners

Create a demand source account

1. Log in to exchange.praevis.com
2. Go to Demand → Add DSP
3. Enter your demand source name and bidder endpoint URL (must respond in <150ms)
4. Select Traditional RTB mode

Register your endpoint

Your endpoint must:

• Accept POST requests with Content-Type: application/json
• Parse OpenRTB 2.5 bid request JSON
• Return a valid bid response within 150ms (hard timeout)
• Return HTTP 204 with empty body for no-bid

Subscribe to inventory pools

Go to Demand → your demand source → Pools. Select which publisher pools you want to receive bid requests from. Demand sources only receive requests from pools they’ve subscribed to.

Test in sandbox

Enable the sandbox flag on your demand source and use the sandbox endpoint to receive test bid requests before going live. → Sandbox guide for demand sources

Go live

Disable sandbox mode. You’ll start receiving live bid requests within seconds of saving.

Create a demand source account

1. Go to Demand → Add DSP
2. Select Delegate mode
3. No endpoint URL required — bidding logic runs inside Praevis

Create your bidding strategy

Paste your strategy JSON in the Strategy tab. Start with the template:

Test in sandbox

Use Demand → your demand source → Test in Sandbox to fire a test auction against your strategy.

Go live

Save and enable the demand source. Strategy takes effect within 30 seconds.
