VAST Tag Live in 5 Minutes
Everything you need to serve your first programmatic video ad.
Log in and add a supply source
Go to exchange.praevis.com → Supply → Add Supply Source.
Fill in:
- Name — anything you recognise
- Domain — your site or app domain (e.g.
myapp.com) - Inventory type —
CTV,Web, orMobile
Click Save. Copy the Supply Source ID (a UUID like 84a75615-...).
Build your VAST tag URL

Add the tag as a Third-Party VAST line item or demand source in your ad server. Set it as VAST 2.0 or 3.0.
Praevis returns VAST 3.0 with a single <Linear> creative. No VPAID — clean VAST only.
Fire a test request
Open the tag URL in a browser (with real ip and ua values) or use curl:

| head -5You should receive a VAST XML response. If no demand sources bid, you’ll get an empty VAST (<VAST version="3.0"/>).
Check your dashboard
Go to Supply → your supply source → Performance. You should see your first auction appear within 60 seconds.
