Banner
Standard display ads. The response is an HTML document containing the creative, a tracking pixel, and a click-through URL.
Common sizes: 300x250, 728x90, 160x600, 320x50, 300x600, 970x250
Request: GET /ad?publisher_id={id}&format=banner&w=300&h=250
Video
VAST 4.2 XML for video players. Includes media files, companion ads (optional), and tracking events for start, first quartile, midpoint, third quartile, and complete.
Request: GET /ad?publisher_id={id}&format=video&w=640&h=480
For multi-ad pods, use the VMAP endpoint.
Native
OpenRTB Native JSON response with title, description, image, icon, click URL, and impression tracker. Your app or page renders the ad using its own layout.
Request: GET /ad?publisher_id={id}&format=native
Audio
VAST 4.2 XML with audio media files instead of video. Same tracking events as video (start, quartiles, complete). Used in podcast and music streaming environments.
Request: GET /ad?publisher_id={id}&format=audio
Interstitial
Full-screen HTML creative for mobile apps. Includes a close button after a configurable delay. Tracking fires on render and on close.
Request: GET /ad?publisher_id={id}&format=interstitial&w=320&h=480
No Bid Handling
All formats return HTTP 204 No Content when no DSP bids. Your integration should handle this gracefully:
- Web: Show nothing or a house ad
- Video/Audio: Skip the ad break
- Native: Hide the ad slot
- Interstitial: Do not show the interstitial
