Advertiser Blocking

Block specific advertiser domains from serving ads on a publisher’s inventory. Blocked domains are injected as badv in the OpenRTB bid request sent to DSPs.

Via Broker

  1. Go to Supply → click a publisher → Domains tab
  2. Under Advertiser Blocklist, type the domain and click Block
  3. Click × to remove

Via Broker Chat

“Block competitor.com ads on Publisher A”

How It Works

When a publisher has advertiser domains blocked:

  1. The exchange adds them to badv[] in the bid request
  2. DSPs see the blocklist and should not bid with creatives from those domains
  3. If a DSP bids with a blocked adomain, the bid is filtered out before the auction
